Image sizes are restricted to 2 MB.  If you are on Windows you can use the Image Resizer Utility to reduce the size.  To do this install Microsoft PowerToys.  Once this is installed you can select one or more images, then right click and select "Resize with Image Resizer".  I use "medium".
