2026 - Mid-Summer Party
95 people attended our SLBC Mid-Summer Party on July 26, 2026. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun.
Thanks to Sharon Wilson and her staff for setup, food serving and take down. Thanks to my crew of cooks including Cam and Lori MacNeill, Susan Klomp, Gary Kotfila, Tino Fernandez and Ted Chapman. Thanks to Ted Chapman for procuring the barbecue meats and other food supplies. Thanks to Kathy Walsh (who handles member fees and apparel sales) for hanging around to ensure that all shirt orders were taken that were inspired by the fashion show. Kathy later told me it was like a flashmob of people descended on her. Thanks to Kim Davis Smith for taking the party photos. And thanks to you, the SLBC members, for supporting the event.
One thing that I forgot to mention yesterday is that we still do not have hosts for our Christmas/Holiday Party in December. Hosts can expect about 65 people and can pick the date and time of the party.

And, finally, our SLBC Annual Meeting Party will be held on August 29th. Labor day is late this year.
Enjoy the remainder of the summer.
